Considering Kerrigan is still my favorite part of the Starcraft franchise, the opening of that trailer makes me sads.

I wonder how long it'll be before someone makes an SC2 third-person map of Kerrigan's Last Stand to replay that incident as a survival scenario.

Sidenote: Raynor looks weird now. No, seriously, I thought he was Mengsk; they look like brothers in that trailer. Wasn't he blond in the first one?

Guess it just looked lighter because of the green bits in the display.

Still pretty dramatic change in his appearance. Not just the aging and the scar, he just looks...completely unrecognizable as Raynor. It's like the voice doesn't even fit him.

I think it's mainly that he looks so much like Mengsk that bothers me.

Yeah, me neither. Campaign and skirmishes is all I really enjoy in RTS'. Toodling around with a faction and whatnot.

I suck ass at any and every RTS, but I'll still be getting Starcraft 2. Kind of disappointed that I will have to wait for Protoss/Zerg campaigns, since they are the most interesting.

I'd rather have Diablo III though.

Even if you suck at the MP portion, there's always custom maps (well, more like custom games than maps, heh). If you played the original Starcraft and Warcraft III online much you'd know the custom maps there are capable of doing some truly crrraazy stuff. Starcraft II pushes the craziness several notches up.

Concerning Raynor's new look, I believe it's simply due to technological progress. You'll notice the CG Kerrigan looks absolutely nothing like her old portrait from SC1:

Does resemble her unit, though - the ponytail and uniform and such. Lacks the mask. Combine the two and you get pretty close. Pretty reminiscent of Nova, though - I suspect there was some model cross-pollination going on since that game never developed.

Still, she doesn't suddenly resemble one of her major enemies the way Raynor now looks like Mengsk.

Enjoying the campaign so far, but I'm also itching to play with the map editor seeing all the new and awesome stuff added. Want make own Protoss campaign XD

So you only get 50 unranked matches. I will probably be avoiding games against random people then.

I don't mind losing, I love to use it as a learning experience. What I hate is an eternal record of how often I lost.
