SETA'RANN NAR IDENNARace: Quarian
Profession: Engineer/Assassin/Saboteur
Gender: Female
Height: 162.56 cm (5' 4")
Weight: 52.62 kg (116 lbs)
Age: 23 years (Earth standard)
Disposition: Cautiously optimisitic albeit reserved, wary of AIs and VIs, not shy about exercising lethal means to reach an end, soloist by profession but welcomes cooperation
Appearance:Her face is masked by a crimson-tinted visor set within a raven-hued helm adorned with golden highlights. The matching crimson head-dress flares broadly like a hood and draws to a pointed peak--highly cobra-esque in its presentation. Said head-dress is fastened at the collar by obsidian cords that criss-cross behind a pair of crescent-shaped brooches and continues along her flanks to leave her front open-faced. This garment is cinched low on the waist by twin belts where it then coalesces to form the ventral flap of her "loincloth."
Padded, horizontal bands that resemble the scutes of a serpent encase her torso and serve as a protective undergarment--golden on the chest and belly where exposed by her crimson over-garments and ebony on the back where they are hidden. Encircling her body beneath a slim bosom hugs a single sable strap. The remainder of her environmental suit is form-fitting, glossy black, and imprinted with a texture reminiscent of scales. Smooth, metallic shoulder pads, vambraces, and boots--all golden--complete her ensemble.

Background:As her name implies, Seta was born upon the Flotilla ship Idenna and is a member of clan Rann. Serving perhaps as a foreshadow to a rocky life ahead she is the third child conceived of mother Zana'Rann vas Oktikka and father Hito'Mal vas Idenna, an act which is in direct violation to the quarian limit of two children per family.
Hito was spared exile by the captain of the Idenna, Ysin'Mal, on the premise that Seta begin her Pilgrimage early and return with a gift to the fleet that "befits a third child" in order to compensate for the extra resources spent supporting a larger family. As such, Seta's childhood was a comparatively short one before leaving the Migrant Fleet.
Although insulated from much of the galaxy like most quarians, Seta cultivated a strong interest in the affairs of other races and their history--humans in particular despite the unfortunate events involving the pro-human organization Cerberus. She admired the range and accuracy of English bowman who wielded what, to her, seemed like such simple weapons. The journies of Americans into the "Wild West" in search of a new place to thrive along with "Manifest Destiny" resonated heavily with her and her peoples' current situation.
Influenced by these foreign tales and bolstered by Captain Ysin's well-known movement towards change and desire for a new quarian settlement Seta knew what she must obtain from her Pilgrimage--a new homeworld for her people. In preparation, she focused her enginnering skills on modifying weapons and armor to improve their capabilities. She envisioned grand exploration like those cowboys of old and secretive operations akin to "black ops" snipers; naive thoughts, perhaps, but they ignited her enthusiasm.
Armed with an array of enhanced equipment, the blessings of her parents, and the firm resolve to complete her Pilgrimage and restore honor to her family Seta set out on an old transport shuttle to begin her journey. It has been five years since that day. Seta has not yet discovered a suitable homeworld.
Other Notes: --Due to the possibility of her enviroment suit being compromised in a shoot-out, Seta opts to fight from long distances. She prefers sniper rifles as they keep her away from heavy fire.
--Seta employs two sniper rifles: a Viper and a Mantis. The former has been upgraded by her own skills several times and is used for most skirmishes. The latter she has extensively modified to fire accurately at extreme range.
--Seta's Surveillance Drone is a modified Combat Drone. It lacks any offensive capabilities and instead provides scouting information. Fitted with an on-board cloaking device and silent propulsion systems it can quietly and invisibly fly through the sky to accomplish its datamining.
--Her modified "Longbow" Mantis sniper rifle can accurately hit a target within a 3 cm (1.18 in) margin of error at distances of up to 3 km (1.86 mi). Firing this way requires a stationary and prone setup, a clear shot, and targeting data provided by her Surveillance Drone. Harsh weather conditions are heavily mitigated due to the slug velocities granted by the weapon's augmented mass accelerator.
--To further keep her out of harm's way Seta's environment suit has been modified to allow tactical cloaking. She can render herself invisible for short periods of time.
--Should Seta be forced to fight at close range she can make use of her Carnifex hand cannon for a quick head-shot if possible. A working knowledge of physical disarming techniques can also help her out of a melee-range scrape, but this is a last resort as she would rather avoid martial combat.
--True to her quarian heritage, Seta is a natural at manipulating technology and can hack most computers, bypass the majority of security systems, and overload or dampen myriad defenses given enough time.
[EDIT] Altered Seta's profession(s) to better reflect her skills and history. No abilities, skills, or equipment have been changed--simply semantics.
[EDIT] Adjusted Seta's weight. I never took into account that quarians, as a general rule, are slimmer and slighter than humans. Oops.
