IC – Blackwatch Defenders
Formed by the sixth Adversary and then later reformed by her after the apparent return of Doctor Destroyer, the Blackwatch Defenders (or Blackwatch for short) is a supergroup unlike any other. Operating with UNITY, they are now a task force style of superheroes with one objective: protect the world from any threat using any means necessary without crossing the line (killing unless it’s the last resort). They are above the MCPD and PRIMUS and operate outside the Champions. Despite their differences and where they came from, they are the ones who will there for the world even in its darkest hour. Adversary and her Sentinels ((Me and other high ranking members of the group)) are ready but the question is…are you?

OOC – Theme and Recruiting
The Blackwatch Defenders is a role-play supergroup with a theme and concept that is inspired by the Ultimate Avengers, the Justice League of America, and the Outsiders with a hint of the X-Men. There is quite a lot of history to the group that it would be best to ask Adversary for the full, no holds bar story. There is moments of fun, moments of romance, moments of tension and lots of action. Everyone in the group has a story that makes them who they are and they all have their strengths and personal flaws. Some heroes are serious and determined and there are a few who are jokesters or silly at times.

We want to focus on providing an immersive and fun experience with Champions Online.

As far as recruiting new members is concerned, it’s like this: as long as you fit the theme of the group and plan to stick around, then we will recruit you. We also will accept antiheroes as well but just as long as they meet/fit the theme of the group and are not all cold-hearted killers (most members in the group are 3 dimensional). We are planning for the group to have say about no more than 40-45 members but if we do go over the limit, I’ll just start up another branch of the team. . Also, any level toon can join ((low level, 10s, 20s are highly preferred)). Also, the group accepts any hero or herione regardless of their race, gender, gender identity, sexuality or religious beliefs.

There is no application to fill out in order to join. All that is asked is if you enjoy RP and helping out others. If you are interested in join, there are many ways you can get reach of me:

OOC – Time Zone
The group operates mostly in any of the time zones here in the United States for anyone who is wondering. It would be best if others who are interested are within one of the time zones themselves although we still will accept you if you didn’t.

Blackwatch Sentinel – Faction Leader just under leader of the group. Faction leaders can recruit other members and work with the leader closely to decide who will be recruited. Sentinels are also watchers of the group bank for many reasons.
Leader- head of the group and works with everyone

OOC- Rules
The only rules I will enforce is this: maturity and respect is highly praised. Should at any point your conduct makes the leader, sentinels, and fellow members in the group entertain the idea the Blackwatch Defenders will be much better without you…it will be.

Please actually help out other team members should they require the help. You must be a team player to be in this group; in addition, standing out and showing that you are a team player can ensure promotion in the group.

Also, if you know that you won’t truly be a part of the group and would probably leave the next day, PLEASE FEEL FREE NOT TO MESSAGE ME AND WASTE BOTH OF OUR TIME!!!

Is there a minimal time commitment for this group? I'm able to get on about 5 ~ 10 hours a week divided across a few toons.

Well I'm trying to sell my Arbiter character to a group, his story is posted in the brainstorm section. His personality is still something I'm working out, but in general he's not an anti-hero by any means, but he is rather insecure, and detached at times. He find it hard to make connections with people, he'll do as he is told and wok with people as needed, but he is withdrawn and it would probably take a strong confident character to coax him out of his shell.

He is a bleeding heart, he finds it hard to find the evil in others. He can see the good with the bad, so he ends up being more or less neutral in that respect, he does what has to be done to preserve life, but he won't kill anyone unless there is no other option. In that respect he fits, ultimately he is very passionate about helping the world regardless of what part he plays.

(OOC) Hello all. I have been a member of the BWD for roughly 2 months and have to say these guys are a great SG to run with. I mainly play 2 Characters in the group who are are on the complete opposite sides of the personality spectrum.

It's really great because everyone is really professional and have some great ideas when it comes to personal story arcs. They do have a website, more of a forum which you can post your characters background, once you are apart of the SG.
