But why was the last question "Do you run a gaming website?" and yet none of the answers were "No, I do not run a gaming website."?

I noticed that, too. I just chose the 'I run a game-related website that is different than those' option, since it's semi-true.

Also, is it considered cheating if I game the PC specs I'll have in a few weeks instead of the ones I have now? xP

I was in the FFXI PS2 Beta. Square sent me a shiny new PS2 HDD and a free copy of the game when it was all said and done. Still have the box and all the original materials. It was great. It was wonderful. I was in love.

Then I hit level 24 and did not enjoy the "Wait 3 hours to get a team to level. Repeat in 20 minutes after team falls apart" thing.

I signed up for this and I really REALLY hope there isn't as much emphasis on forced grouping this time in order to level...but it's Japan. My hopes aren't too high.

Yeah I do. I am going to click in and sign up asap^^

According to EVERYTHING they've been saying (Which is a good sign, since they seem to be sticking to it instead of sticking it in there to gather customers), they are making it significantly less epic. Epic in the extremely long, overly dramatic sense, not the 'Awesome' sense.

Oh no, you got it wrong.. I'm actually looking forward to an MMO where i can proceed through the game, without doing combat unless i want to, AWESOME! That is of course if they stick to this idea. God i hope so!

My sarcasm detector must be off. Now I just need to find a traveling band of super-strippers, since that is the only way to fix it.

Do we have to buy a copy of FFXIII in order to sign up? It keeps telling me to "Please enter the 20-digit promotional code you received on the SQUARE ENIX MEMBERS site without spaces", but when I go to the site it says I need to register my copy of FFXIII in order to get that code.
And I don't plan on buying that game any time soon. D:

The FFXIII code is only for the PS3 beta, from what I know. I signed up for the PC beta months ago, with no code.
