The Overwatch is a roleplay supergroup with a main focus in fun. The concept of the team is a homage to JLA, the Avengers, and the X-Men, and allows any character type into the team.

ICly, the team is led by an NPC called the Overseer. He will catalyze story arcs and IC missions. OOCly, I lead the team with the addition of officers as the team grows.

We want to focus on providing an immersive and fun Champions Online experience.

As we've just started out, we still have a somewhat small group. We plan to have no more than 25-30 players (not alts).

You don't have to fill out an application to join. All we ask that you enjoy RP and helping others. Until the game goes live, you can reply to this thread, PM me, or contact @zaren during the open beta. Once the game goes live, feel free to meet with a member of the team to RP your way into the team.

I've never been one for rules. We only have one real rule: If at any point your conduct makes the officers, the Overseer, upstanding members of the public, or members of the superteam entertain the idea that the Overwatch would be a much nicer organization without you, it will be.

Just remember that respect is universal.

My Rag-tag group of heroes would probably like to join, since I'd love to get some RP with them.

(Characters and brief summaries if interested)

Arad - A swordsman from another world, flung into this one by forces beyond his control. He desperately wants to return to where he came from, but he's more than willing to lend a hand when he's needed.

Observer - A telepath/telekinetic who's afraid of losing control of his powers and unintentionally hurting innocent people, though with Arad's help, he's becoming more comfortable with his abilities.

Lt. Michael 'Lucky' McBrae - An absolutely ordinary soldier with some form of intangible yet undeniably powerful luck. After gallantry above and beyond the call of duty, he was reassigned to a cushy position in Millenium City...until the invasion, when his skills and luck are needed again.

Captain Thaddeus - The Guard Captain of Eternity, exiled from the immortal plane and tasked with chasing down the thief that broke into the Vault of Eternity. He's confident to the point of being insuffrable, but he will always put himself in the way of those who would hurt the innocent.
